Beth Hutchinson
Founder | CEO | Fractional CFO
A Fort Collins native, Beth comes from a family of many entrepreneurs. Growing up, she lived all over the world as an Air Force brat then permanently settled back to Fort Collins in 1989. She considers her early life instrumental to her love of many different walks of life and certainly helped build the cultural vision she had for Tally Services.
After working as a paralegal for years, Beth discovered her passion for business and finance. In 2001 Beth snagged her first accounting gig and completely fell in love with it. After two years of tax prep for individuals and corporations, she launched Tally Services and has poured her heart into it ever since.
As founder and steward of Tally Services, Inc., she is incredibly proud of the Tally rock star team at the helm and the diverse skills and expertise the entire team offers. She is most proud of the culture – internally and externally – of honoring people. Her focus is continuing to have Tally Services provide a very approachable, collaborative team that you know is by your side.
Beth has found her sweet spot in offering Fractional CFO support for small businesses. She is an expert at systems and creating an accounting and finance environment for ease and success.
Beth enjoys travel and especially loves any time she can be outdoors! She is a certified yoga instructor and can be seen out mountain biking, camping, gardening, and being with friends and family. She loves live music so you may run into her any music event. She realizes the importance of time and continues to work on spending as much time with her aging parents and growing children as she can.
Crystal Bernier
Bookkeeper | Client Services
Despite her background in creative writing, Crystal has made the switch to a right-brain field as an accountant and the Tally Services team and our clients are lucky to have her. She has always liked for things to be neat and organized, so she dipped her toe in an accounting program and has been hooked ever since. She went on to get a Certificate in Accounting and has found great reward in her newfound career. She started as a bookkeeper for a laser tag company and has since made the move to Colorado with her family. She loves putting her technical skills to work to serve her clients and help them manage their books. Crystal notes, “My favorite part of the job is the detective work of being an accountant; tracking down and figuring out the missing pieces to ultimately finish the job.“
Crystal is happy her job gives clients the peace of mind to know their financials are in order and everything is taken care of.
When she’s not at work, she loves spending time outdoors with her young family. Her favorite place in the world is Huntsville Memorial Hospital in Texas because it’s where her kids were born and she got to meet them for the first time. She may have once been known for having the highest knees in her high school marching band, but now she’s known for having one of the most organized desks in the office!
Kelly Foerster
Bookkeeper | Client Services
Maybe it started with creating math worksheets for her little brother and his friends in elementary school or maybe even earlier with watching Sesame Street and the Count. Wherever it started, working for Tally Services in partnership with local small businesses and non-profits just adds up!
Kelly believes that enthusiastic, trusting relationships and communication with her clients is the key to a job well done. Tally Services has been the ultimate conglomeration of her previous work experiences from medical/dental education and office management to sales and logistics.
In her free time, Kelly enjoys spontaneous excursions with her children and friends or throwing herself into new and challenging experiences like acting in local theater and narrating audiobooks. She is the one most likely to accidentally serenade the office while jamming out to Broadway show tunes in her earbuds.
